At KRAFTON India, we believe that gaming is much more than just play, it’s a powerful engine for creativity, innovation, and economic growth.
As part of Game Forge by Indian Digital Gaming Society IDGS and Level Up by Confederation of Indian Industry, our team recently traveled to Kohima and Dimapur, engaging with bright young minds at Tetso College, Dimapur, and Kohima Science College, Kohima.
Our mission? To inspire and foster deeper understanding about gaming as a mainstream profession, to build on the incredible popularity of BGMI, and to showcase the wide spectrum of career opportunities that gaming offers today.
We also had the privilege of interacting with local media, sharing KRAFTON’s ongoing efforts to strengthen India’s gaming and esports ecosystem and proudly highlighting our Nagaland connection through KIGI supported ReDimension Games, an inspiring team from Kohima making waves on the national stage.
Our leaders: Saurabh Shah (He/Him/His), Karan Rajiv Gaikwad and Manva Hunswadkar, shared invaluable insights on how students can chart a path into gaming. From understanding the business and operational side, to exploring game design and development, each session opened new possibilities for the next generation. A special shoutout to Karan, who dove deep into the nuances of game development, sparking curiosity and excitement among future game creators.
This visit wasn’t just about sharing knowledge, it was about igniting the minds of the students, planting seeds for the future and empowering young talent from the North East to dream big and build bold.
